We are the Sitler clan, Lorrie, Cassie and Justin. On June 26th we are going to embark on a journey across Canada for a month. During this tour we will be performing random acts of kindness, as well as helping in some soup kitchens. We are going as far east as PEI, then south to New York and back through the States. If you have any "do not miss" spots please let us know.

What day is it again?
So I am feeling a little lost haha. All of my days have just been mushed all together....can't really remember much its all chaos! Anyways so after we left Riveara du loopdy loop (or whatever its called, some frenchy name) we made our way to Saint Johns New Brunswick. We saw the reversing falls, which didn't really look like anything since we didn't go when the tide was at the right point.. (oops) we didn't really have the time to wait around for it to happen. It really sucked walking down all of the stairs with a stiff back, walking like a gibble and finally getting to the destination only to find out that all that pain and effort was so you could see a normal looking river...woohoo. OH! but don't worry! I got the pleasure of walking ALL the way back up those wonderful stairs (my poor back) It was about a 6 hour drive, and my back has been killing me since the day we left for vacation. I went to the chiropractor before we left but of course its giving me grief. Mom likes to laugh at me trying to get comfortable in the SUV I make alot of weird noises while dealing with the pain...... I resorted to sticking my one leg out the window one day, until she told me bugs will probably splat on the bottom of my foot. I was soon back to being cramped haha. We decided to stay in a beautifully sketchy hotel...(I inserted the word beautiful so that it doesn't seem so bad) We had a pretty relaxing night I was SUPER cranky from my sore back and was thankful for the swimming pool and the jets in the hot tub, even if it was sketchy. Mom got some alone time while me and Justin went swimming, she has to write her final essay so that was a good time. She also did some laundry. So we left this morning with goal of heading towards PEI. We took the Fundy trail which is a goat trail of a road that goes along the bay of fundy. We stopped at the shore for a bit, of course when the tide was out, so we had to walk across all of these loose rocks and slimy sea weed. I'm surprised I escaped without an injury!! In fact, I haven't had an injuring this whole trip so far! I'm almost due for a wipe out of some sort. We stopped for a lobster dinner today in St. Martin:) mmmm it was delicious!! Felt so full but it was worth it. We are currently in Moncton, home of the magnetic hill!! Its this hill that you drive down and stop and put your vehicle in neutral and it goes up the hill backwards all by itself!! pretty awesome!! Unfortunately its one of those eye trick...optical illusion things...Mom was the one who just had to point out the sign and ruin the mystery lol. Either way it was a must see thing :). Finding a hotel room was quite the challenge tonight. We found out that there is some huge car show going on this weekend here, which means hotel room rates have sky rocketed just for this occasion. We finally found a room but now we have to skip a few days meals ( lol guess we shouldn't of eaten that lobster today) Tomorrow we are on our way to Port Hastings, Nova Scotia.

oh ya and we found out today that the ferry from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Portland, Maine doesn't run any more so we have to reroute our way to New York and it messes up our schedule. Grrr

Quebec
Yesterday we traveled from Cornwall to Quebec. Cornwall is the last town in Ontario before you cross over to Quebec. Finally we got through Ontario!! When we got to Quebec city we walked around and looked at all of the neat old buildings they have. We took a Feiry to get to old Quebec city which is across the St Laurent River. It was really amazing to see all of the streets and buildings, they were all different and unique. While we were walking down the streets there would be people playing harps almost every other corner. Quebec has been our most favorite stop so far!! Mom said it really got her excited for when she is taking her trip to Europe. Its quite funny trying to get places here, we only go by the pictures on the signs because..well lets face it...me and justin havent taken french since grade 6...and mom has no clue either. Luckily most people can speak a little english. We stayed in "Riviere du loup" aka Quality Inn lol. Very nice hotel and the people were very freindly.
Here are some pictures from yesterday.

Ottawa pictures
Before we got to Ottawa we saw an attraction sign for a skydeck at 1000 Islands, so we stopped to check it out. You had to pay $2.50 to get across a toll bridge and then you could pay $10.00 a person to go up on the skydeck and get a view of all the islands (well most of them). It was so beautiful.

We finally got out of crazy Toronto!!!! Busy! Busy! Busy! Set the GPS and headed for Ottawa. That's more my speed. Went to Parliament Hill and enjoyed a tour of the main building. We saw the House of Commons and the Senate. Learned that I would qualify for Senate appointment, I said hmmmmm and Cassie said "MOM at least finish school first so you're not so crazy busy". I think it was because she was afraid she might have to do her own laundry then lol. I had my picture taken in front of the Supreme Court of Canada where my court case was finally finished. It was actually a pretty neat feeling to stand there, of course with a big smile on my face:). Parliament Hill area is very beautiful, I think I would enjoy being a regular there! We left there and decided to stop for the night in Cornwall. Interestingly enough the city is surrounded by fields of corn. Today we are headed to Quebec City. We heard from some friends that if we park in Levis we can take a ferry over to the old district so that's our plan. Of course there is a pretty wicked thunderstorm going on right now in Cornwall so we'll see how the weather is by the time we get there. We are all a little nervous about being in the French area when none of us speak French. Even though both the kids took French in school. I asked Justin what he remembered and he said "bonjour and Au revoir" I thought "great I even remember more than that from Sesame Street". So guess we'll see how it goes lol.

Canada's Wonderland
So yesterday we went to Canada's Wonderland! Yay! We went on really awesome rollercoasters. On our way to the theme park our GPS was telling us to go along this one road and then it actually told us to off road....into a huge building! What the heck!? I think she must be plotting to get rid of us, she's tired of working so much and knows we still have a long ways to go! The theme park was fun, they had a lot of crap your pants roller coasters. The scariest one was the Behemoth....it has this almost straight drop and its up really really high. I laughed the whole ride because mom was freaking out so bad. Haha! After we left Canada's Wonderland we met up with Uncle Jude and his son Evan for supper. It was nice to eat in a restaurant! 3rd time this whole trip!! After visiting for a while, we went back to the hotel and Doug (one of my dad's best friends growing up) came to our room for a bit. Then him and my mom went out for a while. It seemed like they were gone forever, she didn't tell me when she was coming back either and I had no way to contact her lol. So when she finally came back she got in trouble :) haha payback for all those times you give me heck :) well we are off to Ottawa now!

CN Tower/Downtown Toronto Mayhem
This is the post you have all been waiting for!! Yesterday we drove from Niagara falls to downtown Toronto to see the Cn tower. The drive to the tower wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, but there are alot of jerks on the road. Apparently all the jerk drivers have Pennsylvania licence plates....little do they know we can take revenge when we drive through Pennsylvania on our trip :) When we got downtown to find a parking spot it was so busy! We parked in some separate building a few blocks away from the tower. Finally after all of that chaos we found the tower! YES! we were so excited in just a few minutes we would be 1815 ft up in the air!! well....were we wrong!! We decided to only go on the main viewing area of the tower because to get up to the highest point we would have to wait 5 hours! Just to view the glass floor and main area we had to wait about 2 hours. Great just what we love, more waiting :) So when it was finally our turn they crammed us into these elevators with some glass floor in them....very creepy. We got to the top...and we were all feeling a little queasy, but this is a must see thing in life and might as well suck it up and try to enjoy it. We walked all the way around the tower, Justin was walking as close to the middle of the tower and as far away from the windows as possible. haha chicken :) He was very brave later though, he came and stood on the glass floor! yay Justin!! I can see why he would be scared, when we were walking around the tower, some guy put his screaming baby on this little metal cage thing that was in part of the tower that leans out and is outside. Justin said ``well good luck to that kid for surviving``LOL! I guess it makes sense for him to put his kid there...hes part of those people who drop their kids from buildings (hindu, if your curious look up baby dropping on youtube its a hindu ritual). Mom didn't even try to stand on the glass floor. After we got down from the tower we went on this movie ride thing. You know, those things you sit in and the movie plays and it shakes the crap out of you to simulate whatever is playing on the screen. Anyways i really wanted to go on one at Niagara but it didn't work out, so we went on out that was included with the tower package we got.....I`m pretty sure mom wants to kill me :) the movie was 5 mins long, and we waited for an hour for the stupid thing. The reason we ended up waiting so long is because we waited 30 mins in line for the wrong thing...(fail). Then we discovered that we were in the wrong spot so that was interesting. Finally we left the tower at almost 6 pm. We were stuck in that place for 5 hours. When we got out things got even crazier! For the longest time we didn't understand why it was so busy! Then i noticed people kind of were dressed..well...lets just say interesting. We stopped at a red light and i said look! and pointed to a huge banner that said ``Gay pride festival`` haha awesome! so not only were we tiered, hot, and stuck in traffic, we were in the middle of a gay pride festival! It made for some good laughs though, we got to laugh at all the crazy outfits. I put about the gay pride thing on my status on facebook and on of my Friends asked why i didn't join. I said i wasn't properly dressed for the occasion, i wasn't willing to walk around topless wearing bright neon suspenders and knee high socks. lol. We were so relieved to get to our hotel!! Which by the way is awesome!! Thanks to Aunty Shaness or getting us this awesome place! :) love you!. Anyways we are off the Canadas wonderland today! Watch out for gay pride fesitvals!

Niagara Falls...still
More pictures from the skywheel.
So we got up in the morning and check out of the motel because we could only get reservations for that night at a different one when we decided to stay in Niagara an extra night. Once we checked in we went to get in line for the Maid of the Mist. What a great boat ride right up to the falls.
