Last day in New York:(

Well our time in New York had to come to an end.  Having bought City Passes before we came it included a ferry ride to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  When we called to find out about what times the lady said reserved time were all booked up past August and if we had City Passes we had to come wait in the stand by line which usually has a 2 hour wait unless we get there first thing in the morning.  So since we all hate standing in lines, we got up at 6:00 so we could be at the ferry for the first sailing.  The Statue of Liberty was quite a bit smaller than we all imagined it would be (not sure why we thought it was so much bigger but we did).  It was still great to see.
Ellis Island was not really something the kids wanted to visited, but I made them lol.  It was pretty amazing to see how the imigrants came over and had to be held on the island until they could be cleared.  Must have been quite a camp.
The subway made it really easy to get around and isn't near as scary as it's made out to be.  After that we headed to times square to get some tickets for a Broadway Show.  There's a booth that sells tickets for same day shows at a discounted rate.  We wanted to see Wicked or Lion King but neither were available so we settled on Mamma Mia.  In the meantime Justin wanted to visit the Nintendo World store (which had really nothing in it) and went to the top of Rockefeller Tower.  What an amazing view!!!

This is a billboard on Times Square that shows the people walking by.  See if you can spot us.

The Broadway show was absolutely amazing, even Justin liked it.

You can't take pictures during the performance but took a few before.  Just a great experience overall.  We didn't get back to our hotel until 12ish and all three of us were just beat since we had left the hotel at 7 in the morning.  New York was so tiring but really alot of fun and a great adventure.  I know I'll definitely be back and Cassie would like to also.  Justin says he's good lol.  And now begins our journey back home, and we've already put about 10,000 kilometres on the SUV.  Might have to get a new one when we get back (jk).
